I'm trying out an AXC F 3152. First thing I wanted to do is set the IP address via the /etc/network/interfaces file. Upon saving changes and rebooting, the controller now fails to boot. After several minutes, there are no status lights. I attempted a type 2 factory reset with no luck. Any chance I can still recover this?

Hi Rob,

If you are 100% sure that you are doing the Type 2 reset according to the procedure in the User Manual (below), and if you still cannot access the PLC on the default IP address ... then that would be very strange. In that case I am afraid that there is no other option but to return the device to Phoenix Contact for examination and repair.

Sorry for the trouble.

Martin.

I did have an error in my first attempt of configuring the interfaces file. The good news is, I did eventually get it to boot after removing the ethernet connections at which point I was able to complete a type 2 reset.

Thank you for the quick response.
