Hello,

I think I've discovered a bug: whenever I try to save my project I get the error " Saving the project at the current location is not possible. Do you want to save it at a different location?" When I press yes nothing happens so I press on " Save project as..". Then i go to a different folder and I can succesfully save my project, however when I try to save it again I get the same message then I go back to my original folder and then I can suddenly save there again, and so it keeps rotating it around the 2 locations. I think this is pretty annoying. I use the PLCnext engineer 2020.0

Hello Vince,

I can not reproduce this locally.

Are you maybe using a NetworkDrive or something similar to store the Project?

Is there maybe some other program restriciting access to open currently files?

Well I was using a network drive, but even locally I have the same problem. And why would it give an error if you save it on a network drive? Furthermore I have nothing else open.

Hello Vince,

I ask about the network drive because sometimes permissions on Networkdrives cause strange issues:
Pick any combination of

Read: Allowed
Write: Allowed
Modify: Disabled

for example...
You will be able to write it at first but cant change it later.


Is this a Windows 7 or Windows 10 Installation?
