Hello,

I get this error (Internal Server Error - "Internal server error - Please contact an administrator.") when trying to create a new appliance at Proficloud. Any ideas of why is this happening?

Thanks.

Hello,

In the Web Based Management (WBM) console, can you please check that you have Proficloud enabled, and the "Proficloud TSD" check box is ticked, and the PLC is Online to the Proficloud?

Martin.

Hi, it's been a while since I opened this question. So that must be the problem, how do I connect the PLC to the Proficloud? (The PLC is connected via LAN to an internet modem).

Hi, please check:

  • the IP address of the PLC is in the same subnet as the IP address of the internet modem, and
  • the Gateway address in the PLC is set to the IP address of the internet modem.

Thanks Martin. The Proficloud is now reachable. Now I have to deregister this device. How long does it take to do so?

Hi, do you want to use this device in a different account? If yes, you need to release the ownership in your account at www.proficloud.net. See the attached document.

Thank you Arno. The thing is that this device was used by one of our customers during a training hosted in Mexico City. So I don't really know who registered this PLCNext in his account. Is there a way to unregister the device from the current (unknown) account in order to place it in mine?

Hi,

so as not to talk long about the bush: In this version of the proficloud it is not possible to deregister a device without having access to the account where it is registered. In that case there are two possibilities:

  • To contact the owner of the account and ask him to release the ownership
  • To contact me with the UUID and I can check in the backend if we can release it.

However, I am discussing the enrollment and dis einrollment of the devices to the proficloud with the developers in order to improve it in the next version.

Regards,

Arno
