Is it possible to save custom made function blocks and self written programs in PLCnext engineer? I've already seen the library map, but I can only add premade files to it. I would like to have my several programs and function blocks available when I program a machine instead of opening a project and save the project as a new file.

Hello Vince,

I hope I understood your question correctly.
to re-use your functionblocks you have multiple options.

1. Create a Library that you can then import in every future project.(file -> export -> as IEC Library ; Libraries -> User Library -> yourLib.pcwlx)
-> Can not be modified and content of FBs can be hidden

2. Import the Functionblocks directly from the project. (file -> import -> from another Project -> select FBs you need and press Import)
-> FBs can be modified.

kind regards,
Olver

Yes you understood my question correctly. My native language is not English so I apologize if the question was unclear.

Thank you for your reply, this was indeed exactly what I was looking for, thank you!
