I was using the datalogger to create a database by a config file. Since 2019.6, it's also possible to log data inside PLCNext Engineer. This works quite well for type 'database'.

In the dropdown menu for the type, there is also TSDB. I assume this means Time Series Data Base. Is it possible to show this data on I'm not using proficloud until now, but a dashboard with data could be very usefull. Is there some information available about setting this up?

If TSDB is not available at proficloud, how should I use this type for datalogging?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Arne,

The TSDB (Time Series Data Base) datalogger option is designed to be used with the new "chart" object in the eHMI. You can read about this in the PLCnext Engineer help system - just search for "Chart".

You can send data to Proficloud by marking variables in a PLCnext Engineer project with the "Proficloud" attribute, the same way as previously.
