Hallo!

I am trying to interface Emalytics with PLCnext via OPC UA.

I have already made a connection between the Emalytics (as a OPC UA Client) and PLCnext (as a OPC UA Server) via OPC UA.  

As well as, I discovered and added the OPC UA Server points in the OPC UA Client point manager view (I have attached a photo).

The problem is that the added point does’t begin updating with real-time values and the Ua Status Code is shown empty, as shown in below photo.

 

Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to find any post that would help with this so I had to write to the forum.

Hello Hiteshkumar,

I understand that you have also contacted people in other Phoenix Contact departments about this issue. To avoid duplication, and since the same behaviour does not occur when this OPC UA server is used with other OPC UA clients, I would like to suggest that the Emalytics OPC UA client is first investigated as the source of this problem.

If, as a result of that investigation, it looks like the OPC UA server is the source of the problem, then please let us know here.

Thank you for your reply.

I had tried to investigate the source of the problem and I think that the Emalytics OPC UA client is the source of this problem.

As a crosscheck, I have made connection between other OPC UA client (Prosys OPC UA Client application) to the OPC UA server (PLCnext). It’s working. As well as, the data from the OPC UA server begins updating with real-time values in the OPC UA client.

In short, the OPC UA server is not a source of the problem.

But, I didn’t solve this problem.
