Today I installed 2020.3

It worked fine the first time opened. But then started to get this error (while still open).Then after I closed it, I can't open anymore 2020.3 nor 2020.0. Only get the error.

 

What does it mean?

Hi Martin,

After I rebooted my laptop I was able to open 2020.3 (haven't tried 2020.0), but I am still worried about this error. See Windows info below.

Here is the feedback from the PLCnext Engineer team:

This behaviour is due to a third-party component from "WIBU".

Background: Wibu's service does not start automatically. In almost all cases, this has to do with security settings on the system.

Please make sure that the CodeMeter service has started.

This is also possible in the CodeMeter Control Center - there is a menu item for stopping and starting the service.
