Subject:  Using PLC Next Starter Kit.

What is the User Name and Password for the Web page that is built in the PLC Next PLC Module?

Also, I can connect to the PLC Next PLC Module with the Web Page, (Need User Name and Password to get in), but I have not been able to write to the controller.  Any ideas.

I can ping the PLC Next Module.  My laptop is at 192.168.1.1 and the PLC is at I assume 192.168.1.10 since I can ping and connect with web page.

I did not see any errors, just a message that came up that said, could not write to controller.

What is my next step to troubleshoot or figure out why I am not able to write to PLC Next Module.

My offline Program {PLC Type matches the PLC model AXC F 2152 (2404267) along with the 2 I/O cards.

I have PLC Next Engineer V2019 andV 2020 installed on my PC.  I created a new PLC program in PLC Next Engr 2020.  I just found this message in the Log file.

671C8201-F6D5-4D02-B6E9-2836DB0C1232 0 Connection failed. The connected controller 'AXC F 2152, 00/2019.0.4 (PHOENIX CONTACT Software GmbH)' does not match the configured controller 'AXC F 2152, 00/2020.0.0 (Phoenix Contact)'. Error 04/24/2020 09:18:42 0 0.

I developed my own PLC program.  Also I could not find the Starter Kit demo program on the community web site.  Can you send me a direct link or send my a ftp link or email it to me.

What is my best option to resolve this issue.  I tried opening my PLC Program in V2019 that I developed in V2020, but It would not open.

Should I try to upgrade the firmware.  How do you do that.

Or, Is there a way that I can get the contents of my program developed in 2020 back to 2019.

Also I have another question about PLC Next Engr Software.

If I have 20 motors and I would like 1 popup window to operate them in Manual with a Start/Stop.  This means that when I select a different object such as a conveyor, it will load in the tags for that appropriate conveyor to manually start/stop it.  Does PLC Next Engineer have indirect addressing or another way to accomplish this.  Can you provide an example or instructions.

Also, Is there a way to import Bitmaps or Jpg files and then animate them.

Hello,

I have moved this thread to the "PLCnext Engineer" category.

There are a number of resources for getting started with PLCnext Engineer, listed below.

If you are still having problems after working through the resources below, please let us know.

To answer some of your specific questions:

- The default user name is "admin", and the default password is printed on the housing of the PLC.

- You must make sure that you match the firmware version that is installed on the PLC, with the controller version you select in PLCnext Engineer. You can do this by either changing the firmware on the PLC, or by changing the version of the controller you select in PLCnext Engineer. The resources below show how to change the firmware in the PLC, and it should be self-evident how to select different controller versions in PLCnext Engineer.

- The resources below show to how develop simple programs for the starter kit.

- You should work with the latest version of PLCnext Engineer. Projects developed on older versions can be opened in newer versions.

Hope this helps.

~ Martin.
