Hello;

I do understand the Use of the SD Card as Main Memory...

Wondering if it is possible (or will be possible) to use the SD Card not as Main Memory for the PLC Runtime, etc.. .but simply as Data Storage for storing/reading large amounts of Data (ie...DataLogging) ?

There is a checkbox in the Web Based Management to enable the SD card, but I want to use as storage only.  I do not see this as an option.

Also, would be nice if I could Eject and Insert the memory card when under power when used in this manner.

Thank you !

Peter

I don't think this is possible. https://www.plcnext-community.net/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&view=post&id=7&Itemid=224&lang=en

I would recommend using a MySQL server (or Microsoft SQL). You can also use SQLite in a cloud storage (MQTT, azure..) to send it directly to that service.

Check these maybe:

You can find the System Datalogger here: htttps://www.github.com/plcnext

I'm currently testing with a MSQL server and a C# project that can connect read/write to the database. If I've set something up I will let you know
