Hi Support,

I’m trying to use the Webvisit APP, installing the app works fine but it is not possible to move the deployed webvisit project to the APP folder according to documentation.

I get an error message 4 (General failure) in WinSCP, I can copy the files to other folders but not into the APP folder.

Any suggestions?

Hi Mathias,

Sorry for the delay.

It seems that the developers of the Webvisit application have not seen your post, so it is probably best to contact them directly using the "Contact Developer" button in the top-right of the app page in the PLCnext Store (you must be logged in to see this button).

It should be possible to copy files into the directory /opt/plcnext/appshome/data/60002172000191/HMI,  so please check that this is the target directory you are using. Note that it is not possible to copy anything to the /opt/plcnext/apps/60002172000191 directory, since this is the read-only directory where the app is installed.

If all else fails, you can try copying the files to any location on the PLC, then logging on to the PLC as admin, switching to the root user (using the su command), and then moving the files into /opt/plcnext/appshome/data/60002172000191/HMI.

But probably best to check with the developers.
