Offline: installing a chargeable app

Desktop tools and solutions (in the following referred to as "app" for short) are downloaded directly from the PLCnext Store to your PLCnext Control. Using various parameterization options, you can individually adapt an app to your application.

Note: Registering in the PLCnext Store as well as downloading and using the offered applications is intended only for persons who act on behalf of a company.

Use the Login / Register button to log in to the PLCnext Store (for information on registering refer to the topic Registering).
Make sure that your controller is connected to the PLCnext Store as described in the topic Connecting a PLCnext Control with the PLCnext Store.
Proceed as described in the topic Purchasing a license via PLCnext Store.

After completing the purchase process, the licenses are available in the license pool ready to be activated. Proceed as follows to activate your licenses:

Open the Install drop-down menu for the desired license and select Offline install.
Select the UUID of the device you created.
Click the Continue button.
Open the Offline Activation Wizard and follow the instructions.

After successful license activation, the License Management page, View Containers tab in the device WBM shows your licenses.

Evaluate the app in the PLCnext Store after using it.
