A Night of Connection, Conversation and Community

For the third year in a row, the PLCnext Community came together in Nürnberg. Not on the trade fair floor, but just a few blocks away, at the Rote Bar. After a long day at SPS, you might expect people to head straight home. But instead, developers, engineers, project managers, decision-makers and partners made time to meet, talk and reconnect at the PLCnext Community Get-Together.

This wasn’t about presentations or product pitches. It was about real conversations that happen when the pressure is off and the curiosity kicks in.

More Reunion than Event

The atmosphere was relaxed, familiar and open. Honestly, it felt more like a reunion than a formal gathering. Face-to-face conversations filled the room about challenges in automation, the role of open systems, long-term collaboration and what’s really needed to move industrial technology forward.

There was no fixed agenda. Just shared interests, honest questions and of course a few good bites along the way. And that’s exactly what makes this format work.

Growing in Numbers and in meaning

What started small has become something people genuinely look forward to. Every year, more join. Not because they have to, but because it feels like the right place to be.

We don’t take that for granted. We’re thankful for everyone who showed up — for the openness, the ideas, the energy. For making this community what it is. It’s growing not just in numbers, but in meaning.
